Summer is in full swing and the housing market is as active as ever. Prices and temperatures are expected to continue on an upswing. Thankfully, we have some great events coming up in the Breckenridge-Frisco community that can keep you cool and occupied while you conduct your home search. 

Frisco Bay Marina Kids’ Sandcastle Competition

Bring the kids out for the return of the Frisco Bay Marina Kids’ Sandcastle Competition! 

Open to everyone twelve and younger, participation is free and there will be ice cream for all of the children! There will also be a special appearance by the avalanche rescue dogs. You won’t want the kiddos to miss out on this fun, family event that will take place rain or shine.

Registration opens at 9 am on the Marina lawn and the competition starts at 10 am. All of the kids will have until 11:30 am to build their sandcastles, with the awards ceremony taking place at noon. 

2021 Concert in the Park Series

Another local event returning is the popular Concert in the Park Series at the Frisco Historic Park gazebo.  Every Thursday through September 2 you can enjoy live musical guests and each event benefits a local non-profit. Here’s a look at the lineup for the month of August:

Run the Rockies Trail 10k & Half Marathon

Did you take up running during the pandemic? Because there’s a great trail run through the Frisco Peninsula with views of Lake Dillon and the Ten Mile Range that you won’t want to miss!

The Run the Rockies Trail 10k and Half Marathon is a great course for a first-time half-marathoner or runner looking for a fun course that offers single-track and dirt road trails.

The race starts and ends at the Frisco Day Lodge and online registration is still open, but spots are filling up quickly. All registered racers will receive a piece of commemorative race gear.
