Welcome to my February Breckenridge Frisco Area Community Insider. Which I will be consistently publishing at the beginning of every month to keep you in the loop on everything happening in the community! I hope everyone’s New Year was the fresh start we all needed, mine has already been very eventful with quite a few transactions. 

I’ve been enjoying the quality time with my family and as always this beautiful landscape we call home. What have been some of your favorite activities you have enjoyed this winter? Have you been able to get out and ski as much as you planned? There are still restrictions, but there are also some great local events happening in February. Take a read and hope to see that you can make it to some of these local events. That I’ve mentioned in my February Breckenridge Frisco Community Insider. 

Valentine’s Day In Breckenridge

On February 12th from 7 pm till 9 pm the Breckenridge Distillery is hosting their Valentine’s Day mixology date night “shaking love”. Breckenridge Distillery Mixologist, Billie Keithley will be teaching the art of mixology and the secrets to crafting cocktails. You will be taught how to make three delicious Valentine’s Day drinks. While you enjoy some food from their kitchen and must be 21 to attend this event. COVID precautions they are taking include asking guests to wear masks and being screened upon arrival. Tickets for events are $30 to $40 with a discount for BCA members. No need to register in advance to attend this local event. Hearthstone Restaurant

Wanting a take out dinner for two for your Valentine’s Day celebration? Hearthstone Restaurant is giving you just that! They are offering you and your Valentine a three-course meal including dessert. February Breckenridge Frisco Community Insider & Nordic Skiing Ladies Day

Looking for some company while you are out on the trails? Drop-in ski hour is every Tuesday, and it’s ladies day at the Gold Run Nordic Center! An instructor takes a group out for an hour of social skiing. The instructor is also available to help with any tips or tricks needed while you are out on the slopes. Is working on your health a goal for 2021? This is the perfect event to start attending, or if you are just wanting some company while you are out on the slopes. Pre-registration is required, and regular trail passes and rental equipment rates are applied to this event. For more information click here to get registered! 

Banff Mountain Film Fest

The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will feature a collection of inspiring mountain films. From traveling to remote landscapes and cultures to getting up close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, it will be quite the adventure. Mark your calendars for February 26th starting at 6 pm, you won’t want to miss this local event hosted by the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center. All proceeds from this event support BOEC’s programs for adaptive recreation and outdoor education. Click here to purchase your tickets! Their website does mention to check on what precautions they are taking for guests attending this event, so keep that in mind as well. 

February Breckenridge Frisco Community Insider & Full Moon Snowshoe

Looking for something the whole family can enjoy together? There are a couple of different dates you can snowshoe under a full moon! Friday 13th and Saturday the 14th, as well as Friday 26th and Saturday 27th so be sure to mark these dates down! It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while under a full moon. Your guide will take you on a fun adventure while guided by the moonlight and share historical and natural environment stories with you. Fees will include snowshoes and headlamps, or bring your own if you have them! Click here to get registered!
